The work included the renovation and upgrade of various components of the existing recruiting facility (serving all branches of the military) including replacing the building electrical and fire alarm systems, the rooftop Air Handling Unit, roof drains, ballistic glazing panels on East, North and West facades, entry door and framing, rubber flooring and plywood subflooring, painting the interior, providing structural analysis for the structural systems to support the new ballistic glass panels, replacing CCTV system, installing new exterior security cameras, interior lock actuators and LED TVs, exterior cipher locks, installing new electrical panels, replacing rooftop bird deterrent system and snow melt system, new concrete and ramps. Another significant item of work that was added to the scope after the award was to replace the facilities large, exterior electronic display panel, a highly specialized item.
