LEED Rated Project
ICE was selected to construct a new security pavilion designed to enhance security and speed entry to this busy federal courthouse. The project scope included selective exterior plaza and interior demolition. Work included the construction of a new steel-framed, single story addition to an existing building. Interior alterations to the existing building included: Reconfiguration of the lobby and office spaces, relocation of the fire-alarm panel, relocation of the elevator control panel, construction of new glass air-intake stacks to replace on grade intakes.
Exterior work included sitework, landscaping, planters, pavers, bollards, roofing, waterproofing of plaza/pavers.
Project was designed to comply with the U.S. Green Building Councils Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) Rating System—LEED 2009 for New Construction and Major Renovation.
